2. What data we process, and why
Contact form / email inquiries
When you send a message via the website's contact form, we process the data you provide (name, company name, email address, phone number, message text) in order to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, prepare a service proposal.
- Legal basis: the data subject's consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form.
- Retention period: until the inquiry is answered, or — if a business relationship results — for the duration of that relationship and the applicable statutory retention period (typically 8 years for accounting records).
- Recipients: only authorized XperiComp Kft. staff have access to this data.
Server log files
The server hosting this website keeps technical logs of requests, as every web server does. These contain the visitor's IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the browser and operating system type and the response status code. This data is not linked to any other data and is not used to identify visitors.
- Purpose and legal basis: secure operation of the website and detection of faults and abuse (e.g. denial-of-service attacks) — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: as configured by the hosting provider, typically no more than 30 days, after which logs are overwritten automatically.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files placed in your browser by the website you visit. They fall into three groups. Strictly necessary (functional) cookies are those without which the basic services of a site cannot work — a logged-in session, the contents of a shopping cart or a language choice, for example; the law requires no prior consent for these, but you must be clearly informed about them. Statistical cookies measure visitor traffic and marketing cookies enable advertising-related tracking — these two groups may only be used with your prior, explicit consent.
Cookies are small text files placed in your browser by the website you visit. They fall into three groups. Strictly necessary (functional) cookies are those without which the basic services of a site cannot work; the law requires no prior consent for these, but you must be clearly informed about them. Statistical cookies measure visitor traffic and marketing cookies enable advertising-related tracking — these two groups may only be used with your prior, explicit consent.
This website uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and transfers data to Google LLC. Measurement starts only if you click “Accept all” on the bar at the bottom of the page; until then no request is sent to Google and no cookies are set. Under Google Consent Mode v2 every storage purpose is denied by default and is granted only upon your consent. IP addresses are transmitted anonymised. The purpose of the measurement is to improve the website and to assess the performance of advertising; the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
If you choose “Necessary only”, no measurement is started. Even then we remember one thing in your browser’s local storage: your decision itself, so that you are not asked again on every page load. This is not a cookie and our server never sees it. If you click through to our other website (xperi.hu ↔ xperi24x7.hu), we carry your decision over so that you are not asked the same question twice. This happens only between our own two sites, with a check on the referring page, and the decision can be changed there at any time.
If a web shop or a service requiring sign-in is launched on this website in the future, it will use strictly necessary (functional) cookies — typically to remember the logged-in session and the contents of the cart. These will still require no prior consent, but we will extend this notice beforehand and name the cookies concerned, their purpose and their lifetime. Statistical or marketing cookies would only ever be placed with your prior consent, through a consent dialogue.
You can view and delete stored cookies in your browser at any time, and block further ones; the setting is in a different place in each browser, typically under "Privacy" or "Settings → Cookies and site data". As this website currently places no cookies at all, blocking them has no effect whatsoever on how it works.
3. Data processors
We use a hosting provider to operate the website: Tárhely.Eu Szolgáltató Kft. (1144 Budapest, Ormánság utca 4. X. em. 241., Hungary). The hosting provider may access data stored on the server in the course of technical operation. Messages sent through the form are delivered to our own mailbox through the same provider's mail system, which also runs on Tárhely.Eu Kft. servers — we use no other provider for e-mail. The hosting provider may technically access the content of these messages in the course of technical operation. The hosting provider's servers are located in Hungary.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you are entitled at any time to:
- request information about the personal data we process about you (right of access),
- request correction of inaccurate data,
- request erasure of your data where there is no longer a legal basis for processing,
- request restriction of processing,
- object to processing,
- exercise your right to data portability,
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You may exercise these rights through the contact details above; we reply within one month at the latest. If you believe our processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH — 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., phone: +36 1 391 1400, e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu, website: naih.hu), or turn to the competent court.
5. Data security
We protect the data you provide against unauthorized access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion or destruction, as well as accidental loss or damage, using appropriate technical and organizational measures.
6. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling based on data collected through this website.
7. Transfers to third countries
If you consent to measurement on the cookie bar, Google Analytics may transfer data to Google LLC (United States), which constitutes a transfer outside the European Economic Area. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. External serving likewise occurs when the map on the home page is displayed. Without consent, the operation of the website involves no transfer to a third country.
8. Amendments to this policy
We reserve the right to amend this policy if the circumstances of the processing or the legal environment change. The version in force is always available on this page; the date of the latest update is shown at the top.
